New York Strip Steak with Crumbled Blue Cheese

Steak Lovers enjoy a nice juicy steak with a twist of Blue Cheese

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 18 ounce NY Strip Steak
  • ¼ cup(s) Blue Cheese Crumble
  • 2 tsp(s) Olive Pomace Oil
  • 1 tbsp(s) Butter Cubed
  • ½ tsp(s) Garlic Minced
  • 1 To Taste Salt & Pepper Himalayan Salt if Accessible

Instructions

  • Gather ingredients and place a sauté pan on the stove and heat.

  • Rub steak with minced garlic, then and salt and pepper. Do this on both sides.
  • Get sauté pan hot and begin to sear steak.

  • If pan is very hot heat for about 6-8 minutes on one side. Add butter and turn over to sear other side.

  • Place pan in oven for 5-10 minutes. Depending on desired temperature wanted.

  • Pull steak add red wine and set aside. When ready to serve place blue cheese on top of steak put back oven for 5 minutes till cheese melts.

  • Place steak on plate, put pan back on stove add ½ tsp butter sauté to make sauce. Pour on top off steak and serve.

Notes

This classic pan seared recipe works with any type of steak cut. Searing the steak in a hot pan creates a nice golden brown outer layer crust. Feel free to message me for any additional help with creating a personalized recipe.
